Joanna Douglas was born on April 11, 1983, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada and is currently still based in Canada. Talking about her family, there is not much information about them in the public space but it is reported that the actress has a sister.

In addition to that, Douglas has been in a fair number of Hallmark and Lifetime movies including Christmas Inheritance, Taking a Chance On Love, and St.Roz. Most recently, the green-eyed beauty featured in the Hallmark movie Noel Next Door alongside fellow Canadians Natalie Hall & Corey Sevier.

Nonetheless, it is not wrong to say that one of Douglas’s most prominent roles in her long career, is her portrayal of Miss Muriel Stacy in the popular show Anne with an E. She was one of the main characters in seasons one and two and was beloved by viewers. Also, the mother of three is also very loved for her portrayal of Heather in Hulu’s popular show The Handmaiden’s Tale.
